Dave Guidette is Senior Vice President, Enterprise System and Service at APC. In 2007, Schneider Electric acquired APC and formed the Critical Power and Cooling Services (CPCS) Business Unit, which includes the APC and MGE UPS Systems brands. The CPCS Business Unit reported revenue of $3.5 billion in 2007 and employs 12,000 people worldwide. Schneider Electric, with 112,000 employees and operations in 190 countries, had 2007 annual sales of $25 billion (€17.3 billion).

Appointed to this position in February 2008, Dave leads global engineering, marketing and services teams tasked with developing and bringing to market industry leading products, systems and solutions for key end user environments and applications, including 3-phase power and power distribution, cooling and services for IT and building/industrial applications.

Prior to joining APC and the CPCS Business Unit, Dave has spent 14 years with Schneider Electric. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President, Offer Development for the Power Business Unit of Schneider Electric. In that role, Dave led global R&D teams and technology centers. Prior to joining the Power Business Unit, Dave was Senior Vice President, Globalization of Technology for Schneider Electric. In this position he developed and started Schneider Electric Central R&D Global Technology Centers (GTC’s) in Bangalore, India and Shanghai, China along with the management of the GTC in Monterrey, Mexico.

His career at Schneider Electric began with senior engineering roles in the North America Operating Division. Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Dave was with Thomas Daybright Lighting in Mississippi and several General Electric divisions.

Dave holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Western New England College and a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
