What is the Energy Partner Program?
The APC "Energy Partner Program" is a program designed to give regulated utilities, deregulated ESCO's, and ESP's the tools to recommend and provide the most reliable power protection solutions available. Selling reliable power protection not only provides additional revenue, it creates satisfied customers who will recommend your brand again and again. Installing reliable solutions also increases the margin on your service and energy contracts by preventing nuisance lock-ups and "no-fault found" service calls. From individual surge protectors for residential customers to data center power arrays and 3-phase UPSs for commercial and industrial customers, APC offers the most comprehensive line of power protection products available.
Utilities who sell APC products to their customer base will benefit from personalized sales support and customized co-marketing provided by APC's sales and marketing professionals.
Criteria to join APC's "Energy Partner Program"
Program applicants will be required to complete an on-line application survey. This survey will ask you to answer a number of questions, including what type of organization you represent and whether you are interested in a residential or commercial and industrial program.
Upon completion of the on-line application, a member of the APC channel development team will be notified of your application. He or she will call you within one business day to discuss your organization's needs. Once APC has verified that your organization meets the program requirements and has established your program needs, an on- site visit to your facility will be scheduled to finalize the details of the agreement.
Benefits of APC "Energy Partner Program"
Marketing Support:
APC marketing professionals will work together with your marketing staff to develop a co-funded and co-branded marketing plan. Partners will have access to APC's in-house marketing agency for all co-branded marketing materials. APC will use a variety of traditional marketing vehicles (ie. public relations, direct mail, advertising , Currents Magazine) to increase the awareness of the partnership among your customer base and/or new customers you are looking to acquire.
Training & Personalized Support:
Partners will receive access to free trainings dedicated to technical and sales assistance held regularly at our Rhode Island headquarters . Additionally, APC staff will conduct personalized on-site trainings for PQE's and other support personnel.
Sales Tools:
Quickly and accurately size APC products for virtually any workstation/PC, server, telecom or internetworking equipment with APC's interactive Size-UPS tool. Determine your customers' susceptibility to power problems and calculate their return on investment (ROI) with APC's electronic worksheets.
Partner E-mails:
Partner E-mails provide up-to-date information about products, programs, and promotions. Free offers and sales tips are also included.
Membership Regulations
- Members are expected to promote APC products in their outbound marketing and promotional materials such as bill statements, newsletters and company web site.
- Members must be willing to allow APC to publicize their membership in this program via pre-approved public relations vehicles, direct mail, web and print advertising.
- Membership is not transferable to another company.
