Through collaboration with Microsoft, APC developed the two-tiered serial uninterruptible power supply (UPS) management built into Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server. APC offers the PowerChute family of enhanced UPS management software ideally suited for any Windows environment.
In addition to joint product development, APC is proud to be recognized as a supporter of the Microsoft Technology Centers (MTCs) throughout the U.S. MTCs offer enterprise or ISV customers the facilities and resources they need to efficiently envision, architect, and then evaluate a secure, customized solution using Microsoft® and partner technologies prior to deployment in their own IT environment. APC’s InfraStruXure® solution provides the MTC’s with a comprehensive, managed approach to racks, power and cooling.
On Microsoft’s Redmond campus, APC is integral partner in the Microsoft Partner Solutions Center, which is an IT engagement lab that exists to design and demonstrate real customer solutions running at scale. It specializes in applications and services offered either to or through enterprise in the communications sector world-wide.
