APC began working with Philips Medical in 2000.  Since that time, the healthcare industry has moved rapidly toward the implementation of management systems for healthcare records and the increased usage of healthcare information technology.  Known for Legendary Reliability®, APC has been awarded the preferred UPS supplier status to Philips Medical in support of its efforts to speed care and improve the patient experience.  In 2007 a global contract was signed between the two companies.
