“The Diagnostic Center is a private, multi-specialty physician practice for cardiology, endocrinology, infectious disease, internal medicine, pulmonology and sleep disorders.  We offer the latest in medical technology and diagnostic testing through our labs and clinics.  Our 24 specialists and primary care physicians see hundreds of patients a year, many of whom are anxiously awaiting test results.

“Our physicians’ mission is to provide our patients with outstanding care.  To ensure the most complete and accurate clinical data for their diagnoses, we must have a reliable and up-to-date data center.  The increase in sophisticated clinical data as well as HIPPA privacy regulation demands constant managing and updating of our medical records.

Growth Opportunity
“When I came to the Diagnostic Center over six years ago, the data center consisted of a single digital VAX server.  Today that data center houses 11 servers, four routers and two firewalls.  New systems on the horizon will require planned growth and ever-increasing demands on the reliability and availability of systems in the data center.
