NetBotz Building Management System (BMS) Integration -
The Modbus protocol is a standard in the industry and is supported by almost all of the BMS vendors. APC integrates Modbus TCP over an Ethernet connection and Modbus RTU/ASCII over a serial connection for NetBotz® communication with a BMS (e.g. T.A.C Continuum™ and Vista™, Johnson Controls’ Metasys™, Siemens’ APOGEE™, ALC’s WebCTRL™, etc.). This paper explains the integration of the APC NetBotz® appliance v3.2 release with a Building Management System.
